My philosophy

In my role as a coach, I hold the belief that every individual is unique, and as a result, their training plans should reflect this individuality. Each athlete presents a distinctive combination of physical attributes, genetic makeup, and personality traits.  The more I know about these things, the better I can coach. I strongly believe that good communication is crucial for building successful coach-athlete relationships. 

Achievement is important, but so is maintaining the joy of running for many years to come.

  • I want to work with individuals who are willing to have some skin in the game, who understand that results don't come from just paying a coach, but from actually showing up. And if you show up, I show up for you, because you inspire me. I will support you 100% and I care about the whole you. Sometimes you run just for the sake of running, but often the goal you have articulated isn't just about that goal. It's about what the outcome of achieving that goal means to you. The why, the difference it will make in your life. I find it interesting to learn about your broader motivations and not just look at fitness metrics.


  • As your coach, I'll work closely with you during a  1:1 phone or video consultation to understand your goals, lifestyle, fitness level, and past experiences. Together, we'll create a personalised plan that evolves as you progress and become stronger, fitter, and more experienced.


  • With me as your coach, you'll no longer face uncertainty or wonder what to do each day. You'll have access to a tailored training calendar online, via TrainingPeaks, connected to your watch, for seamless tracking and monitoring.


  • I can provide advice on strength and conditioning, race fuelling, hydration, and setting new goals. Regular communication, whether by email, text, or your preferred method, ensures you receive the full benefits of my coaching.
